My First Year on WordPress: 2014 in review

Thanks to all who made my first year on WordPress a success! You’ve visited my blog, commented, and supported my efforts to share my thoughts on life and the writing process. As I’ve blogged during the past few months, I’ve felt more inspired to do my best to share positive messages and work towards my goals to complete my book — Yes! I finally did — and publish more in literary journals. Thanks to the 1,000+ visitors who stopped by. 2014 wouldn’t be the same without you 🙂

On Becoming the Me I Want to Be

Perhaps I wasn’t born to write. But writing has become a part of me. I love how it makes me feel. It clears my head and best of all helps me create worlds.

For a few years, I lived away from my hometown while pursuing a degree in English Literature. A few experiences while back in Montego Bay affirmed how much writing and dreaming and becoming are interrelated threads within my life.
