A book I’m currently reading is called Start with Why by Simon Sinek. It’s made me think a lot about the secrets to success. In truth, there is no secret. Life is what you make of it. Success begins with you.
What’s Your Mission in Life? Don’t Forget to Work on You
Goals like having a successful family and career are great but if you aren’t actively striving to be your best self, you might end up living a life that everyone is happy with except you. Once your life’s mission is “you”, success will come naturally in other aspects of your life.
It’s up to you to figure out who you want to be and make success happen on your own terms. Of course, you’ll need some important tools to help you along the way. But you’ll discover them as you work on you. Life will align itself when you are prepared to shape your destiny — when you decide to be an active player in who you become.
You are your richest resource and thankfully, you’re in control of you. Start by making “you” your life’s mission. Determine today you’ll achieve greatness by being the best you can be.
Working on You Doesn’t Make You Selfish
Working on you might sound selfish at first but it isn’t. In fact, this journey will inspire you to reach outward.
For instance, you’ll discover that working on you propels you to improve your talents and in turn bless the lives of others.
So feel free to look inside, reaching outward and start with you.
